Maze Ransomware operators took the responsibility of the attack on NHAI (National Highway Authority Of India)
Last Tuesday we published a report that NHAI shut down its Email server and IP phones . Indian Agency responded that no data loss took place and the shutdown was just a precautionary step. Now the operator of Maze Ransomware taking the responsibility of this attack and leaked approximately 5% data of the total volume which is exfiltrated from the NHAI server . Cyble Research team verified the data authenticity and told “The Cyble Research Team identified
and analyzed the data leak of around 2GB. The data leak includes
sensitive corporate operational documents such as the company’s staff
list, passport copy of ex-chairman of NHAI, details of dependent family
members of NHAI employees, NHAI internal audit reports, and much more.”
